The Elm Street Memory project is a painting installation.  The human brain remembers up to 5-9 pieces of information at any given time, which are then arranged in collage format.  I am interested in how we remember our existence in any physical space. For “Elm Street Memory”, I will walk along Elm Street and pause to sketch my surroundings 5-9 times. These visual records will then be transformed into a painting/collage format that represents my memory and visual records of Elm Street, and the physical and mental stimulation our bodies react to in order to understand our spatial surroundings.
