100 Spins Around Elm Street is a video projection that documents the construction, deconstruction and reconstruction of a collage work based on patterns and other architectural elements discovered in downtown Greensboro. A numbers generated system of chance utilizing a game spinner determines what element is added or taken away from the piece. By highlighting these sometimes quiet moments in a busy urban setting, the viewer is asked to look a bit closer at their surroundings.
