This art installation began with a simple open discussion about disagreements about Disney. Disagreements are often something much more fundamental than the issue itself. They are about people’s different cognitive styles, different ways of being, and different personalities. So Near Yet so Far consists of a long strip of paper. On one side there will be the text of positive responses, and on the other side there will be the text of the negative responses. The text is on polar opposite sides of the strip, never meeting nor seeing each other.
