In this participatory installation passerby’s interact with the simulated experience of receiving an MRI, from beginning to end, including sign-in and reception, the waiting area, and the test itself. My Resonant Interior simulates this through still MRI images, sound, and constructed environments. The artist aims to open discussions between those who have personally experienced an MRI and those who have not. Optimally, all participants will contribute to and learn from this otherworldly but sometimes necessary, corporeal screening.
