This roving performance installation involves dancers manipulating a set of large, light-weight blocks featuring images of previous performances at different venues. Moments of choreographed dance phrases are mixed with improvisations in direct response to the photos on the blocks and the general environment. Intermittently, a smaller set of blocks are gently tossed towards passers-by of all ages, non-verbally inviting them to participate. Images captured during the performances in Orlando will be repurposed into future mixed-media installations elsewhere.
