Mushrooms have a whimsical and mysterious sense to them, seeming to magically pop up overnight. This installation consists of the mass planting of 1001 mushrooms made from paper lunch bags held in place with bamboo skewers. From a distance these mushrooms appear to be real and the volume of this installation creates a lot of intrigue. The mushrooms demonstrate that great things can be made from everyday objects and that art can be fun. Have a closer look, run around the mushrooms, take a bunch of selfies and have fun!
