Art in Odd Places (AiOP) 2015: RECALL is our 11th (odd) year anniversary in New York City on 14th Street, and this theme about looking back at the artists and projects that made these festivals possible over the years.

For RECALL, AiOP has invited back over 40 artists to either present their original work or produce a completely new one that explore artworks in all disciplines outside the confines of traditional public space regulations. The festival will take place October 7-11.

We also need assistance at the gallery show at Lodge Gallery, October 14-30.

ARTIST ASSISTANT:

Handy? Outgoing? Assist one of our artists with their projects.

We have over 40 artists’ projects participating in this year’s festival many whom are from out of state or from another country. We are looking for energetic participants to accompany them during the festival and support the artists when needed.

VISITOR LIASON:

Greet & inform visitors about Art in Odd Places throughout the festival.

Assist visitors in finding out more information about the festival, artists, and special events.

Join in the fun- become a member of our team. Volunteers are invited to all the special events and hang out and entertain out of town artists.

The volunteer team will be small, so we are looking for committed and responsible individuals who are available to work some shifts during 10 AM – 6 PM the days of the festival, 5-8 PM October 9, for the opening reception, 12-4 PM October 10 & 11 for the public programs, or 6-10 PM October 14, for the gallery opening.
