LISTEN is an installation of portraits painted on cement planters in Downtown Orlando created in order to call attention to individual experiences of homelessness through large-scale, expressive portraiture in a public space. With an interest in community involvement, the artist (a painter and scenic designer) worked together with a local organization dedicated to helping the homeless as part of her research for the project.
