Memory Faults seeks to explore the public and the personal through a series of three videos and an architectural projection. The videos, which are constructed through the digital collage of family photographs and appropriated images, depict the formation of identity of a South Asian immigrant. Western stereotypes of South Asia, beloved Hindi films and personal photographs of life in Sri Lanka and the US become convoluted as the artist projects a personal history of migration.
