The ElectroAcoustic Sound Lorry (EASL) is a mobile performing arts station designed to explore the musical possibilities of sounds that are often considered unmusical or undesirable. By presenting improvised performances incorporating electronic sound generators and found household objects turned acoustic instruments, Sean Hamilton will use the EASL’s sound world to investigate how nontraditional sound and noise can be used to create musical soundscapes and improvised compositions.
