In this environmental installation the relationship between the individual and the places they inhabit are explored. Through the subtle and direct application of paint onto elements of the commonplace environment, the artist circumvents expectations and offers a new potentiality. Over the course of TONE, members of the public will be invited to engage with their environment, documenting and uploading images of the works they encounter. This interaction will contribute to the development of an alternative map of the area based on new strategies for engaging with the world. It is through the interruption of expectation that new potentialities platforms for imagining emerge.
