Atomic Number Two is an interactive work that gives tangible form to the aspirations and fears that inhabit an individual’s inner dialogue. Through acts of inflating and deflating corresponding balloons the individual will be performing a symbolic ritual where they give breath to their dreams and take power away from their inhibitions. The outcome of the piece is the creation of a floating web of dreams of the Downtown Orlando community as well as a safe space for introspection where the individual may feel a sense of strength and unity in their community as they move forward toward their goals.
