55 Years of Change

55 Years of Change is a 3⁄4­ mile walking tour of drawings placed between Elm Street and Bennett College, a historically black women’s college where Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke in 1958. The tour features drawings by Bennett students in Harry Swartz­-Turfle’s drawing class. The drawings explore the social, political, technological, and architectural events and structures that have changed in 55 years. The drawings will be removable and free to the public.
